Digital Technology International Users Group
Cox Ohio Publishing, Dayton, Ohio

The officers and directors of the DTI Users Group would like to invite you to join us Sunday, June 29 through Wednesday, July 2 for “DTUG08,” the annual DTI Users Group Conference in Midway, Utah.

Whether your interest is News, Advertising/Production, Classified, Systems/IT, Project Management or Internet/Online, there will be something for you.

There will be opportunities to:

  • Brainstorm with fellow users on tips, tricks and strategies for success
  • Learn the latest from Digital Technology International on the status of its version 7.x system
  • Get an insider’s view from Adobe on CS3
  • Hear from users on the status of recent system installations and upgrades
  • Interact with DTI’s top software engineers about future system features

General conference highlights will include:

  • Group sessions with information of value and interest to all DTI users
  • Round table discussions that target specific specialty areas
  • Workshops that cover the spectrum of user topics of interests from Classified to the Web
  • Sessions where users can collaborate within their areas of expertise to review software issues and feature requests with DTI

The DTI Users Group, while not affiliated with DTI, has significantly helped to shape the direction of DTI’s newspaper publishing software as well as future enhancements in the Adobe application suite.  DTUG and its members have a unique level of access to the software engineers, the support technicians, the trainers and the DT executives. This partnership has been beneficial for both the company and its client base.

As details are finalized an agenda will be posted and regularly updated.

Vice president and workshop coordinator Aaron Kuehn () has assembled this year’s list of workshop offerings. User interests during the registration process will determine what will ultimately be offered. If you wish to lead a workshop please let him know.

Links to information about whom should attend, workshop descriptions, current registrants, transportation, hotel and general help can be found in the right channel of every conference page.

Keep aware of who plans to attend by checking the list of current registrants as it’s dynamically updated as registrations are received.

Please be sure to use the hotel conference code of “400639” when making reservations at the Zermatt Resort and conference center in Midway, Utah. Hotel details and a link to make reservations can be found on the hotel page. If you experience problems with your hotel reservation, don’t hesitate to contact DTUG Treasurer Heather Nelson-Kusnitz at 404-526-5171 or via e-mail at .

This year’s registration fee will be $460 for those who register by Wednesday, May 28 and will cover meeting facilities, equipment, a hospitality suite and most meals.  This is a $10 increase to cover additional processing costs we are incurring this year.

All international registrants should select the payment choice “Check or Google Cart payment by May 28 to qualify for early registration fee ($460)” on the registration page. We want to make it easier for you to register and attend. If you register early and arrive at the conference with your cash registration payment, you’ll save on expenses and hassle of arranging for the advance wire transfer of funds for early payment.

After May 28, the registration for everyone except international participants will increase to $475, so please register early and save.

The conference will start with a cocktail reception from 7 to 10 p.m. Sunday, June 29, with lots of food and a cash bar. Plan on a buffet breakfast and lunch Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday along with two breaks that include snacks and beverages.

The conference will conclude at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2.
